BONSOIR... (yes, that's a Robert Sheehan reference)

For the real OGs, you will know I have been writing blog posts on and off since the age of 12. And here I am, 8 years later, still waffling on about my favourite things or the things which have wound me up so much I have simply HAD to write about them.

Back in the day, I wrote about all things 12 year old me could dream of (a.k.a. self taught Nail Art and Dream Matte Mousse foundation) and my biggest aspiration was simply to be the next Zoella (dream big or go home). However, life happened and teenage angst very much got in the way. Looking back, this was probably a good thing; the internet could only take a certain amount of my old self-taken Blackberry phone photos of my questionable make up looks. Still, despite all the exam stress and growing up, the yearning to write never left my side.

So, 2020, school completed, two gap years done, and university begun, I am here typing once again. A lot has happened in the past 8 years. Obviously, riding the turbulent wave of life for that long brings a new outlook on things and I've got a whole collection of exciting, shitty + weird experiences I'm ready to share and, hopefully, help people with.

I feel very giddy about this as I am sat in bed in my boyfriend's old Louis Theroux tee.
